I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
It is an old thread, but I just discovered it. The first photo is from my father's snapshots. He was in England and France in 1944-1945, and I guess the castle is in either England or France. Does anybody recognize it? I wish I could find out exactly where it is. The next two photos are of my sons with the cannons at Castillo de San Marco, St. Augustine, Florida.
Urasoe castle Okinawa Japan. I visited Hacksaw ridge last year and was pleasantly surprised to find this castle, a stone road connecting Urasoe and Shuri castles from 1597, and a couple other sites dating from roughly the same time frame in the immediate area.
great subject matter, please keep em comming.
Just a slight correction, Fort Sumter is in SC (South Carolina). Charleston Harbor.
