A Trip To Normandy

Article about: It would seem madame Gondree who served me was quite miserable? maybe they forget its not just about making money!!! I still bought a T shirt though as its something you cannot get anywhere

    Great stuff. Got to spend a 3 day weekend there this past August. Based out of Caen, which is awesome in its own right. I noted a total of 343 "Normandy" pictures on my UK/Normandy pic disc. Many of the same shots.
    While walking the various beaches and sights, I spent most of my time looking at the ground, HOPING to find a relic of some sort. Not one thing. BUT, I did manage to bag up a sample of sand from each beach and get it back thru U.S. Customs on my return. I did declare it on the form and was barely questioned about it. Whew!
    This is what I've done with that memento of my trip.
