Just my two penn'orth here, I also have one of these knives, same RB marking, but different grips; although with two rivets flat on each side. I bought it over 20 years ago - having seen much discussion since, and having added a couple of other knives to my collection , I'm satisfied that it is not WWII vintage.

It just doesn't look or feel 'right'.

    Hello,
sorry but the knife is not good.
Only RBNr 19 (smf) and 20 (Weyersberg) existed.
besides very difficult to find nowadays.
    Cordially.

Concerning RBNr gravity knives there are only 2 models 19 (smf) and 20 (weyersberg).

Regarding the Anton Wingen luft it is not listed in the Luft knives.

Note that the Hat42 and the luft with the Anton Wingen brand have been widely copied.

Like the inf42 Tiger where its authenticity has always been in doubt.

    Cordially.

    Hello,
luft RBNr 19 and 20 did exist during WW2.
One of my acquaintances in belgium recently acquired them.
As for its authenticity, with a little experience you quickly see the difference with the fakes that you can see on the network (rivets, patina of wood and blade, steel, guard, shape of the handle ...).
This is only my point of view.
    Cordially.

Well you've repeated yourself 3 times, have you got anything new to add?
