Cleaning a dagger blade that has smudge,info needed

    So what did you end up doing about this cancer? Can anything be done to remove the blackness?

    Spidering can only be stopped if you seal it renwax.
    As long as the inpurity is exposed to air it will slowly grow and reveal all the inpurities of the steel.
    Clean it as good as possible with a bit of semi chrome and put renwax on it.

    I would suggest not to buy daggers that have this black spidering in the blade.
