Miniature dagger paper knife info

I made an enquiry to Thomas Wittmann who kindly responded. These were made during the war with a Swastika in the pommel. Those made after the war used the same mould but had the Swastika removed.

That leaves me wondering whether the one I once had from my Grandfather was with our without a Swastika, which I can't recall after so many years. I'll keep an eye out if I find one of the same design but with a Swastika in the pommel as I've not seen one yet. All those I've seen so far seem to be post-war.

Here's an original WW2 miniature KRIEGSMARINE dagger which the post-war letter opener is modeled on. This is 25cm in length.

As had been mentioned earlier in the thread, the manufacturing quality of the earlier pre-WW2 miniatures are far superior than the post war GI market souvenirs.

But for completeness for the thread, I've attached a image of a miniature KS98 letter opener that I have. I've seen these with inscriptions indicating some were made as far back as the First World War period.
