Larry thank you for your answer. I have been comparing the details for a very long time. Yes, there are many small differences. Is this really authoritative or can there be little deviation?
There is no price yet.
What have you found in comparison on the majority of Alcoso produced types?

Take Larry's word as authoritative and in many cases final... Deviation in many ways is not a good sign, meaning that parts put this dagger back together again...
I trust Larry with 100% of his assessment...

For what it is worth......to me it is extremely hard to make out many details given the background. It is very distracting and the dagger blends in.

Can you provide a full view of the crossguard and not cut off wings .
I am having the hardest time right now trying to rotate the original image in the first post and post a side by side comparison
Anyone any help would be appreciated .
For some reason..in some of my photo library ..it doesnt give the option to rotate.
A little help please. I tried saving it and the system wont allow me to rotate.
Regards Larry
I am seeing a better image now that Mr S1966 has posted.

S1966,
See if you can take some pictures on a different background. As MAP has pointed out the color of the carpet is blending in with the colors of the dagger and I am tending to shift my focus to the carpeted area.. If you could place the dagger on a neutral background such as the red background that Larry posted it may help bring out the details on the dagger..

Sometimes with poor photos ...the wrong assumptions can be made and in this hobby ..clarity is most warranted.
Clearer photos are also a game changer what started off giving thoughts on its authenticity.
Let start over ..since you have already provided a newer photo....can you provide the same quality and also front and back of the scabbard crossguard and grip?
Please no incomplete half photos.
For sure the dagger has been opened.
