Not my area, but it looks like the blade has been heavily cleaned and the script added, jut my opinion, wait for others..

There were 3 logo types for Burgsmuller and the one shown is a Type 1 which should of had nickel fittings and had also 1 of 3 tang markings.
This tang appears not to have any..which was common with a Type 2a ..either having a tang marking or not depending upon the sub contractor.
This combination posted above is incorrect and also shows a poor grip to guard fit for a supposed early NPEA dagger.
I would say also the motto was recently applied.

Also notice the tang where it starts toward the threads, it is poorly shaped and unlike a period original. Crossguard shape appears off too. The blade immediately got my attention but I think the whole thing is a pile of post-1945 junk.
