The producer logo is also inconsistent with Eickhorn rat tail logos and the letter "S" in Sein and Scheinen of the motto ...should be the long type "S" seen and not a short "s"
All Eickhorn produced NPEA blades show this font style.
The crossguards marked with an "H" and not "HE" has not been observed on NPEA daggers by Eickhorn.
Period SA daggers produced by Eickhorn have had tang markings that are consistent with their internal markings of their NPEA daggers.
The marking on the tang seen in the photo above "A18" has only been observed on Remscheid SA daggers.
Alot is wrong with this NPEA dagger and would leave it where it sits.
