So, i have read alot of threads, and looked at originals on web sites and done a little research on this.
There is no marker stamp as such, being 43 late war they omitted the conapny name as to stop allies bombing the area which would of been industrial. bakelight handle seems.to be correct, The CRS code if i am right is Paul Weyersberg & Co?
i know a british company in the 70s jumped on board with fantasy items, does this avoid that or is it exactaly that, a fake?

i guess the moto to alot of things if its really over rhe top in too much detail then its more likely a fake. i did rhink the elaborate etchings were the red flag on this as the rest of the bayonet seemed as it should be. thanks for confirmation appreciate it.

This is a combat bayonet, and were never allowed to be etched. Given the poor overall conditions likely a 1970's fake etching, with very little value I would think. You are correct regarding the bayonet maker.

Not well condition bayonet, so probably nothing bad, only added a fantasy etch to increase market value, it was already rusted, on blade is no remains of blueing, the maker is correct for the S84/98 bayonet, P.Weyersberg & Co under code crs in 1943, by matching bayonet it should same number on scabbard. Scabbard was probably painted black, the pommel is rusted.

    Hello,

S84/98 were never etched. This is purely a fantasy product.
