I recently visited this museum outside of LA (it featured on one of the 'Weapons Hunter' episodes. It only had US tanks and vehicles on display (I was hoping for some German WW2 stuff), was interesting and some great items there so worth a trip if you are in town.

However, it really could do with some covers for the exhibits and many of them are in dire need of restoration. The collections itself must be worth USD millions, so there must be some way to release funds. It probably needs a complete revamp to get more people there and market it etc. The site is also quite small and doesn't take a huge amount of time to visit.

Whilst I was in LA I also visited the WW2 store in Torrence near LA - a lovely sleepy town. The store is worth a visit, but seems to major on books rather than equipment and uniforms, but it has those as well.

Has anyone else visited these places?

Great pics! I love the 'Rhino tank' with the hedge cutter tusks , designed for the Normandy Bocage I believe and very effective!

Hi Gregg. I would say it is a Japanese tank, specifically Type 95 Ha-Go
