Hi Kevin, I think your assesment is correct. Liner pads look replaced.
Cheers, Ade.

I'd add to this that while the liner's condition does not appear commensurate with the helmet's condition and it is likely a replacement item, I wouldn't write it off as 'post-war' or incorrect.
That pattern in the fake leather and the other materials appear in wartime helmets.

Hello,
The shell looks nice. It it possible to get additional photos of the liner and shinstrap?

Thanks Bruno. I posted several photos of the liner and chinstrap, is there a particular spot or section you want me to request a picture of? Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Yes more detials of the inner part so we can better assess the material of the gralek, internal pocket and whool.
Same for the shinstrap as I do not figure out the way it is adjusted (no buckel) that is unusual. I am also surprised but the corugated attached on the pghotos you posted and both side of it may be interesteing

Sold for $537, I couldn’t get close to that with my belief that that particular liner is not original to that particular helmet. Thanks everyone for your input. Kevin

Hi Kevin,
In doubt it is always best to pass. I wasn't fully confortable with the helmet so it was hard to tell you more
