Hi!
Thanks for the pic! The cockarde in it is so nice!
Collection of Peter Suciu
Does anyone know the actual dimensions of the large cockade, as used on the model 1915 Adrian?

IMO, there is a reproduction star on the helmet pictured above.
These were a big deal on eBay for quite a few years back in the 2000s.
They arose like flies and quickly died off....

Register at forum www.russiamilitaria.com and inquire about your wish for info. I could almost swear that I saw I link to a website that offers reproduction insignia such as this referred to there in recent years.
Make sure your post is in Russian - BTW.

Thank you RichieC. Your info is about the same as I got from vendors in Ukraine and the Czech Republic with whom I've done business ... "I know reproductions were made; used to see them but it's been a couple of years now". I'll try russia.militaria.com as you suggest. Luckily I did have a couple of years of Russian in high school, and with the help of a translator and a couple of language/vocabulary books can usually manage simple communications.

IMO, the reproduction stars are constructed from stamped thin gauge brass, still bright, with a "plastic" looking lacquer type finish.
Again - IMO - The star that adorns the example pictured above: it seems to be one of these.
Kindly compare to the two examples belonging to a colleague that I show here - one in steel/tin, and one in brass:
