    Here is my Russian side cap, I hope it’s a WWII found a long time ago in Germany.
    This one is unissued but the stamps don’t show a date or O38 something like that, I believe it’s more a manufacturer code.

    I am no expert on wartime pilotkas and do not recognize the stamp. But I can say with certainty that this sweatband is either a much newer addition to the cap, or this cap dates from the 1960s

    Great, authentic example! “Artel Trud” stamp. Artel is located in Ivanovo. Would want to take it off your hands!
