    Hi everyone,
I recently added this ushanka to my collection, Got it really cheap in a lot.

it's well worn with a lot of character and use behind it.
Fur is a grayish color, typical gray cotton flannel body, the ties are resewn on by hand.

The stamp is still very visible although text is hard to read. I've seen this type of stamp referenced as early post war before so I think this cap could be a late 40's or early 50's production, if anyone recognizes this stamp and has info on it please let me know,

Either way, it's just a cool old ushanka - enjoy the pics

Lining seems good to me. I’d wait on another reply though.

    Hello,

Early postwar stamp in my opinion. Still a nice ushanka

    Best regards

Thanks for the replies! I as well am settling on early post war for this one, Happy to know what I have and enjoy it as such.
I think it's important to remember they made these the same for few years after the war, glad this one had a stamp to discern.
    Regards

I think that's a faded version of this stamp which appears on post war headgear:

Beautiful example either way. Thanks for sharing!
