A M35 NKVD visor although it doesn’t exhibit the typical red piping along the upper edge.
Thank you for your feedback Witt !
Could we consider this cap as an original ww2 cap ?
Would it be like a "homemade" partisan cap as it does not look like the "official" one ?
The rectangular shadow of the sweatshield on the inside of the cap tells me it is not wartime. Not even certain about originality tbh. Look at the very worn inside and blue top and the pristine red band on the contrary. Also the shape of the blue top is weird, as if made to fit a smaller capframe.
Just my observations.
I have to agree with Marcel. Personally, I don't care for it. I'm not comfortable with the chin cord buttons, the diamond sweat shield, the underside bill material and the overall appearance. Looks like it's been assembled from parts. It's just doesn't have a professional - official- manufactured appearance. Plus I believe the Soviets had very strict uniform regulations even during the Patriotic War. Can't see them letting an NKVD cap get by without regulation piping.
Like Marcel... Just my thoughts and observations.
