soviet pilotka, original or not?

Hi everyone I have had this Soviet pilotka for many years, I bought it at markets in my city in Italy by an old man. I would like to know if this hat is original and especially at what time it goes back. In addition, I will soon have to go to Russia and I will have to bring this hat with me, if it were original, I would like to know if in case I found it in my suitcase, at the customs, they could make me problems. obviously not for the hat itself but for the fact that inside still has a serial number and when I purchased it, I was not left with any receipt and no information on this hat.

It's an authentic example that dates from the 1980s.

However, it's been pimped-up a bit with that sleeve patch, most likely to appeal to tourist souvenir seekers.

As Richie says, a pimped up original. You can buy these by the masses in Russia on markets, the majority pimped up with all kind of badges, pins, medals etc etc. Typical tourist piece
