Ssh-40 stamp

I am under the impression only the Stalingrad Tractor Works (CM in Cyrillic) and LMV made Ssh-40 helmets. I may be wrong, so I am asking if anybody knows what this stamp is (CW in Cyrillic, S Sh phonetically)?

Remarkable stamp and also seems false to me. I have never seen it in this capacity before.
РОСТ-3, means in this case size-3.
The abbreviation СШ will probably stand for Стальной Шлем and means Steel Helmet.
42г suggests the year of manufacture.

Can you also post pictures of the entire helmet, both from the outside and the inside?

I agree. This also shows that is important to post the complete helmet (or any other item) when looking for opinions. A small fragment is simply not enough. This one is yet another proof.

The helmet is indeed a fifties production. On the war and early post-war copies, the chinstrap is attached with a rivet. In the later fifties models, the chinstrap is attached with stitching.
