My giddy aunt koppel71 ! - we are certainly swimming in deep waters here by your showing of the quite wonderful Großdeutschen Jugendbund Koppelschloss !! This is only the second time that I have seen one, other than in publications.

My knowledge of the organisation is vague, however I think that for anyone who has an interest in the HJ, this is a phenomenally important, iconic and remarkably - little known buckle.

Correct me if I am wrong.

The Großdeutschen Jugendbund and in 1926 was renamed "Hitler Jugend Bund - Deutscher Arbeiter Jugend".

Fantastic buckles and for myself personally, a great 2010 start to the forum !
