Final question: that is an aluminum hook, not a metal one, if I'm right, being an early, pre-war belt - using a mobile phone at this moment, sorry.
Belt is a 1st pattern with aluminum hook. So an early example that could be pre-war or early in the war. Look at post #19 in this thread. Later war examples also in this thread:

...and to not open another thread - I'll ask about this belt (another early alu type) - my main question:
Is the stiching original on this (see pics below) and shouldn't be the leather tab be longer by a few cm below the stiching?
