Blank German belt buckle

My apologies if this has already been discussed before on the forum. But at militaria fairs I've seen German WW2 style belt buckles being sold that do not have a logo in the middle. They're basically like the Private Forestry Officer Buckle (see image attached) but then as the standard square model. Sadly I haven't bought one of these yet, does anyone know what these are and what they're called?

Thank you both for your replies and my apologies for the late response. You are both right! I was indeed thinking about the ''penal'' buckle, and I found one 2 days ago and picked it up.
