WW1 Prussian Belt & Buckle

Hello all,

Have a WW1 Prussian belt and buckle that was with my grandfather's war items. Belt is brown dyed black. Couple of questions to the experts:

1) Belt buckle has stampings on the backside. Think this was done during buckle manufacturing or possibly somebody's initials?

2) Belt has a worn white label, anyone know what this used to say?

The DRGM is something like A patent. The white tag is probably the owners .
