TC how do those prices from 2001, K98 rifles compared to the various pistols listed, which ones have increased in value the most? Have the rifles increased in value more than say the P38 pistols?

I would say they are about equal on German pistols and rifles,K98s may be starting to edge out the pistols ,they seem to have went ballistic in the last couple years.US rifles not as much but getting there, the Smith Corona 1903a3 for 575.00 would have been a good buy, seen them bring 1000.00 in a heart beat lately.First pic is of the G41 I bought for 1200.00 its mismatched but complete. An Eddystone for 285.00,they were kind of a sleeper rifle, aint that cheap anymore.

Had a DOU 41 or 42 (can't remember now) mismatch bolt complete with original sling back in the late 90's that equates to these prices. If I recall it was AU$200 and a good long range shooter! still kept the wood work and sling.

Wow prices sure have gone up since then. When there was an influx in the mid 90s of imports by CAI I bought a mix-matched BYF 44 for $250. Now even these are going for $600 often. Sounds like my dad's bringback just went up another $100 since I typed this!!

Ha probably so. Don't forget the matching 98ks that sold for $5000 on Gunbroker. Someone sure had to have em. Talk about bidding wars!!
