G24T With Turned Down Bolt?
I came across a G24T that is all matching and in VG+ condition. The only problem is that it has a turned down bolt handle, like the 98K, that is numbered to the rifle. I have always seen and read that G24T's had straight bolt handles. I'm thinking this is not correct. But I am not that familiar enough with the G24T to be sure. My fist thought a little creative renumbering.
What do you guys think? I'd appreciate any input.
TIA,
Sam

Possibly sporterized by the post-war owner?
I have seen a lot of other rifles with that kind of modification, mostly Arisakas.

The few I have seen at gunshows all had straight bolts, maybe it`s an armourer replacd bolt that he renumbered?....Pete.

Pete,
That's my feeling as well.
