Thanks Larry!Here is my favorite P38,byf44 in the second alphabet series b block,one of the first phosphate finished "dual tone"guns.Still has a blued barrel and some blued small parts.Mauser ended production in the early f block.
A Kongsberg Colt is a Kongsberg Colt over here.
Few people are allowed to collect Pistols,so wether it has a "Dirty Bird" on it or not makes really no difference.Most Pistol owners are compeditive shooters and a KC is not what anyone is looking for.
The ones that fetch the most money are the pre war models.
Curiously Lugers are worth even less than KC¨s, couple of hundred will pick you up a decent Luger.
Come over here,look around see what I am talking about.
I would love to,thats amazing.I guess if not many are allowed to collect pistols the demand isnt there.
