It looks like a Czech VZ 24 to me. Nice find.

It could be czechoslovak Vz.24 buttstock when 4863N1, with smaller last digit.
Agree. I can see the finger grooves in stock. Plus the sling hardware unlike the 98k stocks. Sure looks pretty old. Collectors often look for old milsurp stocks to refurb sportered guns.
Seems like every SKS I have ever owned had similar numbers on the buttstock, Yugoslavian, Russian and Chinese, captured re-issue ?
