Nice one. Any import marks? Nice to have the sling.
I have a few of these but only one is relatively unmolested. So many of these were refurbed/reworked with a hodge podge of parts both pre and post war.

No import marks witch is nice. I can't stand some the import marks, on most of my mosins it's right on the receiver. Sling is cool too it's SA marked. As far as I can tell it's all orginal. The stock has most likely been sanded, seeing how there is no serial number or other markings. I also got some ammo witch is quite expensive by itself.
I would have to look at mine, but if I remember most of them have the stocks sanded and varnished. I'm pretty sure this was done post war...but they were so cheap I didn't care. I have one with import marks that is a massive frankenstien of parts and has a stock has been spliced/cut to what appears to have been done to accept a different rear sight. I've read that these types were build from parts and shipped to US post war for commercial sales..

btw....yours I think is a Finnish purchase (the SA mark). I may have some links saved on this but some quick google searches (Finnish, Carcano, etc) should provide you with info.
