Japanese Arisaka muzzle cover

I need help with determining if this cover is real or a reproduction. I found it in my safe and I have zero ideas as to where I got it.
No marking on it.

From what I see online it looks like a reproduction but I want to be sure.

I would agree with your thoughts being a reproduction. The good one have a extra lip on the part that goes behind the sight. The green ones will be inspector marked frequently and less frequently on the brown ones.
