Article about: Ben, I could be wrong but I don't like the buckle: on a WWII German sling the fixed pins should be flush grounded.

    Yes, this is a good one; any markings (inner side, close to the buckle)?

    Thats good news I have just bought it and have to wait for it now, I will take more pics when it arrives, now to try and find an original frog/keeper

    Just avoid the brass button ones, unless they are properly pre/early war marked.

    I read that on a site about K98 equipment, I presume these are no good then, brass buttons with no marks to the rear?
