Latest recorded 480 code Walther P.38?

I'd welcome opinions on what appears to be the latest recorded 480 code Walther P.38. I'm not aware of another in any collection with a higher serial.

Images below for scrutiny, though I'm afraid they are of rather poor quality.

Can't help with the serial number, but the 38 looks great and as for the pictures you should see the quality of my handy-work with a camera! Great find. Jonathan.

The photos were taken quickly, just with an iPhone, so as to get the images up here. I'm hoping some of the experts on here will weigh in with their opinions.

These images should show the piece in a better light.



What I'm trying to find out is if any later serial has ever been recorded in ownership. From what I can tell, this piece is the closest to the end of the serial range found.
