In New Zealand CLLE`s are common and confusingly known as MLEs,so I certainly learned something today.
I suppose in a way it is probably correct to still refer to them as the MLE... the squaddies pronounced it 'Emily' as in the girls name. After all, the CLLE is just a converted MLE. Over here in the UK it is the other way around, the CLLE is rarely come across, but there are many civilian versions of the MLE... and both versions are rare to find with military issue markings.
