My pair of Italian submachine guns, both are deactivated.
Weapons are really well made, simple to use and easy to disassemble. Wide range of magazine sizes were available, mine are 20 and 40 rounds. Interesting design feature is twin trigger for auto and semi-auto fire, not very common to find on submachine guns.
Italian weapons of ww2 are really badly made, either bad design or just quality. But this one is an exception.

Nice pair of SMG's. Interesting differences and yes rather crudely built for that early.

There are no official sources on the production of Beretta automatic muskets, the prototypes of the 38/42 model were developed on German request.
The first 38/41 heavy barrel model used the 38A's milled body with a lightened large diameter barrel.
About 2000 pieces were produced, 1000 with the provision of the shoulder sling on the right as for German use and 1000 with the shoulder sling on the left as used in the Italian army.
