    Was at the Kansas City Military show and bought a 1922 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant. The first picture is from a reference site (the only difference is the year) because my camera is utter crap.

    Was it a gun show or a militaria show.Because if it was a militaria show send me some info on it for the next one.I usely go to the gun show next to the airport in KC.NICE RIFLE.

    I don't think I will shoot it because it's not in the best condition along with being 88 years old.

    i bought one .. a 1942 ..... got it at a gun show for $100 .... shoots great .... very accurate .. nice kick .. a lot of fun to shoot

    You should take it to a gunsmith and have it checked out to see if its suitable, I think it would be great to have a chance to fire one of these weapons

    I shoot all 8 of mine, including a 1904 Model 91.

    Clean it out, buy some ammo, go shoot it.

    Even in the unlikely event that it blows up, the design of the rifle means that it blows the bottom out of the magazine. Your only idea that "something went wrong" will be the unfired rounds landing on your foot.
