I just picked this up today for 100 dollars. It is in pretty good shape. I believe these are pretty common, but it looks good with my Air Force items.

Thank you. I was pretty happy when I looked it up in my book and it is worth a good 250 dollars.
Hi Looks like you got a good deal
i belive these were used in aircraft and tanks etc. the button on the side of the barrel is used to lock it into the side of the plane before loading.
i have started collecting flare pistols this last year, it is a interesting area to collect. though good ones are hard to find. i have put a few picks of some of mine.

Nice flare guns. This is actually the only gun I'm allowed to have. I saw a Kriegsmarine double barrel flare gun at the place I went to, (for about 300) was that cheap? I have heard they are quite rare.
Hi That sounds very cheap to me i would pay that without a second thought.
they are hard to find in good order hear in the uk
Andy
why are you only allowed one? if you dont mind me asking?
Andy
My dad aprooves of guns, while my mom doesn't. The two clash. You get the idea. It is my birthday tomorrow, so my mom let this slip. Until i'm 18, no guns.
ha i know what you mean my mum was the same.
now i have my own house the only thing stopping me is lack of cash as usual
Andy
Yeah. The sad thing is she doesn't understand the concept of a deactivated firearm. She thinks they just take the trigger out, but you can put it back in whenever you want, and still shoot it.
