Some kind of Belgian pocket revolver?
Article about: Hello guys, my father gifted me this old revolver and I think It's Belgian but I am not sure so I would appreciate if you could help me out! Here is the front And the back Also this marking

The R with the crown above it is a Belgian proof mark, the Y is a year code i think. It's much earlier than WW2 though.

They were called Bulldog. There are hundreds of models, all different, made by local armourers in the region of Liège (Luttich). They are most of the time copies of patented existing models.
The most used caliber was .380 black powder.
Search on Internet pictures with: Belgian bulldog revolvers. You 'll probably see yours.
