Fascinating photo, they seem to only have one set of ammo pouch each, they have shoes & gaiters, the grenades are for training, having rough holes in them. Most of those the soldiers look so young as if they were out of a classroom. Perhaps Czechs recruits from Sudeteland (annexed in 1938).

More real the soldiers are austrians, equiped with older stuff, and captured stuff in Czechoslovakia and Poland, personally i dont believe there are young soldiers, most of them are over 30ies probably, there are various old guys.
