The right WaA for Beretta's guns would be 162, not 192.
Also very strange the double proof marks: the 4UT excludes the WaA, and in any case not WAA.
Is your gun in the serial 600.000/616.000?

Fake WaA markings on a nice late produced Beretta Model 1935. BILL

All fake stamps TC, sorry. Also looks like a strange finish with some pitting under it.

I always appreciate you posts TC, but I would like to respectfully ask that you take full size photos in better lighting. This one does not make a difference in the stamps but it does on the finish. It helps greatly on most items.

Thanks guys!I was pretty sure it was.The barrel waffenamp is 162 not 192.The pistol has been bead blasted looks like and dura coated or barbeque paint,ha ha It was bought as a shooter, its all steel and should make a good one.The waff on the barrel does not look fake but could be.Will make a good tackle box gun, anyway the poor thing needed a home.Unusual flat bottom mag with ridges.Mags look ww2.No ser. no. on pistol at all, so used WAA192 for it ,that works to identify it. Its maybe a last ditch or post war assembled pistol.Like I say its weird!

Flat bottom magazine is correct: it's the classic spare magazine used on those times.

"WAA" is a error that wouldn't have been made, so clearly a post war addition by someone
