    Default WWII scope? No markings

Sorry, not sure if I put it in the right spot of world firearms but I didn't know what else to choose.

The scope is unmarked and I am completely unaware of its origin or date. It looks to be old, possibly US? Is it for hunting? I would love to hear some opinions on what gun this scope goes on to.

cant tell you any thing other than it looks to be the wrong mount for that scope, judging by the gap in the rings around the scope.
sorry i know that's not much help.

Thanks for that information. What would you guess the origin to be?

I have an idea about the mount being Soviet/Russian, because it is made in the same way, more or less, as the ones for AK and earlier. Fixed on the left side of the rifle, being able to use the iron sights, even with the scope mounted.

Imo the scope does not fit the mount.

Those prices are from 1959 ,so not too up to date.
