There is a small booklet/leaflet about them, which has the name "Ehrenschilder" der Deutschen Arbeitsfront. That's where I got the indication from.
A friend of mine owns (a part of) this leaflet. On one of the pages various others are shown, along with the well-known Gaudiplom, as well as a special plaque that states the company to be a Nationalsozialistischer Musterbetrieb.
The page with 5 plaques you can find in my wall-plaque book (Wall Plaques and Official Office Signboards of Hitler's Third Reich, 1933-1945), page 155. A page size photograph from the plaque as shown in this thread is on page 157. On page 156 is one plaque for the Gaudiplom with a photograph of such plaque hanging at the door of an office-building from the "Deutsche Lufthansa" at Frankfurt.
Pierre - Very nice assortmant to say the least, thanks for showing.

There are some very nice and uncommon items in this thread. It is indeed a 'feast for the eyes!' DAF items are underappreciated, in my opinion.
Horst, very nice plaque with post 38.
May I ask what the manufacturer's name is?
Could it be this is Deutsches Blechwarenfabrik A.G. from Braunschweig.
The cogwheel looks greyish, but it is black, isn't?
