Marked 44 and some sort of bell I cannot make out.
Heavy marble base, 270 mm high so quite large.
It does have some provenance, albeit verbal.

I don't know whether it's genuine, but I do quite like it..

Not a lot of opinions so perhaps others feel the same.
Copies are available of this casting online, however those don't show the same level of detail as this one.
The base too just has a good original feel and look to it.
Anyhow I like it, but if it raises any red flags with anyone please let me know.
I do apologize for the fact the pictures are rotated, they rotated when I downloaded them onto this site.
If anyone can tell me how to rotate them back please let me know.

It looks like an early pattern NSDAP flagpole top converted to desk eagle.
Do some searching for that and see what comes up.
I can't comment on its originality.
PS if you crop your photos even slightly they usually come out correct
Looks period possibly once attached to a military Glockenspiel.
