I have this very Interesting Field Newspaper in my collection.
I know it cant be really prooven that it is an original, but the whole apperance and state where enough for me to believe it is indeed original.
I just bougth it because it is really something special and unique, showing how joyfull these men where finally being abel to go into real war, before the realization what war really means.
The Newspaper seems to have been made to celebrate the ending of the Training Phase for the 2. Flak-Battery Oldenburg.
It seems it was made by the Soldiers themselfes, as its just typewriter text with hand-drawn images.
The texts are littel rhymes, mockings of their equipment (especially the K98k), their superiors and drill, as well as inside jokes.
I can try to translate some of the Text if needed, just ask.
