A day on the beach, the surveying and mapping is almost done... three more days to go! All finds will be kept at Hanko Museum, the conflict archaeology excavation of the German transition camp is part of my doctoral dissertation "Deutsches Lager Hanko 1942-1944". The dissertation will be published in English in 2019.

The front part of a shoe or a boot yes. It´s actually part of a rather large metal statue!
