Hitler - Adolf Trumpf of Hannover Plaque

Well since I'm on a TR decor kick lately, I thought I'd show off this Adolf Trumpf produced Hitler quote plaque I just picked up.

This one, other than a few unfortunate scuffs on the high areas, is in excellent shape with no real blemishes or damage. There are some real hit-and-miss wall plaques that were produced, but this one has a very well done and very accurate likeness of Hitler.

Here's a bit of what I know about these:

These were an officially recognized NSDAP non-portable award. It was produced solely by the Adolf Trumpf company, and it was presented to political and state officials in recognition of special achievement. Unlike most non-portable awards, this one was made so that it could be hung on the wall of an office.

Copper plated feinzink with a dark antique finish (somehwere between a bronze and copper color), 92 x 138 mm (3.7 x 5.5 inches, roughly), and really quite heavy for a small piece.

Hitler Quote on the front:
"Die Voraussetzung zur tat ist der Wille und der Mut zur Wahrhaftigkeit" (The prerequisite for action is the will and courage to be truthful).

Text on the reverse:
