BTW, this is NOT technically an 'NSDAP Table Topper' as incorrectly described - it is an early and very scarce Type 1 pole top eagle that someone has mounted to marble to make into a desk or table decoration- these were seen on glockenspiels and schellenbaums - although there are photos of them in the 1935 movie 'Triumph of the will'......
