Silver ring
Hello everyone.
I would like to ask you for help in this way. I recently found this ring with a detector.
It was found on the retreat road where the German army was retreating in 1945. I found a similar in a similar group here. Does anyone know if this could really be a canteen or a souvenir piece? If it doesn't belong here, I'm sorry and I'll delete it right away. Thanks everyone for any help.

Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
When you do a basic google search of "Roman soldier ring" or "Roman centurion ring" a lot of images of similar rings pop up. They seem to be mostly described as art deco or antique rings with onyx and fetch a nice price. Not TR but still a nice ring.

I was confused that all the rings have a head engraved on them. My ring has a protruding head.

Yes, the "protruding head' is carved in onyx, The other types look like engraved in metal
