Yes. Based off the shape, the depth of the bowl and the lack of holes, I would be comfortable to say that this is an authentic spoon.
That said, I will leave it to others with experience to confirm if the engraving is period correct.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

At the time of purchase, seller wasn't able to give any information on the spoon or where it came from and had me doubting
German silverware that has a mark BMF 90 and a logo of a man with a cap walking with a cane or stick,
The manufacturer was BMF (Bergische Metallwarenfabrik Deppmeyer & Co.).
The BMF, Cutlery and Metalware Factory, was established in 1908 at Solingen. During WWII, the company relocated its headquarters to Burgkunstadt in Bavaria. BMF was taken over in 1994 by the Swiss firm A. Pfister S.A. and became integrated in 1996 into the branch establishment of A. Pfister S.A., Burgkunstadt, for this model, it is between 1930 - 1940..
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
That's great, thanks for this information!
Now I know the origin of this item
Hey!
