WW2 German Beer Steins authenticity?

Article about: Good Day All, I have been following this Forum for a while, but I have just received two beer steins from an old family friend and I was wondering if they were authentic or fakes?

    Thanks guys, I had a feeling, just wanted to pass it by the experts. They will sit on the back of the shelve and gather dust for many years. Until my kids realize their nothing special...I appreciate the input.

    Or....you can use them for their intended purpose! Fill them with cold bier and get your moneys worth!

    You should be careful some glazes used on cheap pottery contain lead or other toxic compounds so I wouldn't drink from them.

    PS put a note inside for your kids so they won't get their hopes up! happy collecting
