Brewery founded in 1856. It is the most important in the Kralsruhe area. Before the First World War the output was 187,303 hl.

Turbulent years during and after the war had to be survived. It was not until 1933 that an economic revival began, from which the brewing industry also benefited.

After the Second World War, the brewery had to almost completely stop its brewing activity. Only in 1948 did the economic situation normalize. In 1956, the brewery's 100th anniversary year, beer output exceeded the 200,000 hl limit for the first time.

    Dear Gwar,

    What an interesting photograph!

DT as Deutsche Turnerschaft and which is still in existence today as Deutsche Turner-Bund. In addition, AvD as Automobilclub von Deutschland and which again, is still an active and functioning organisation.

Not forgetting of course the Arbeitsmann wearing his shiny new SA buckle!

    Regards and best wishes,

    David
