Any information on Erich Buchmann?

All I know is he commanded a regiment of the Dirlewanger Brigade and was the sole survivor at the end of the war (not sure how accurate that is). Is it known whether he participated in any crimes? He died in the 1970s IIRC. Any help would be appreciated!

A Google search on his name plus the unit name turns up plenty, as well as links to his files in the bundesarchive. Pretty much all the dirlewanger unit did was commit atrocities he was an evil shit would have been elbows deep in all sorts of heinous stuff. The press reader link has a long article on the human garbage they were.

Thank you, asterperious. I'll see what I can find. Might've been using the wrong browser, as every result I found had plenty on Dirlewanger but not much on Buchmann himself aside from cursory info on rank.
