I agree. But I still have new information...

My son has just told me that if we take into account that Fall Blau started in those days, it is impossible for the soccer game to be in Stalino.

On June 28, the front was in full swing, in fact I'm seeing that Stalino was captured on July 20, 1942..... I think guys that the seller's information was not exact.

I don't know if the Feldpost numbers can clarify the exact location of the match. The truth is that I don't know....

During the Second World War in the city of Stalino, a team called "Vanguard" was created, which played in 1942-43 with the Makeevka players, German and Italian troops. The captain of "Vanguard" was the defender of "Stakhanovets" Georgy Bikezin.
