it seems that every thing has an ARSCH, and RUSSIA has a very large one. GOD had to put it some where and this is where he put it!
Hi mates in #66 I uploaded this photo
A few days ago I found these other two photos
And I understood that it is a photo of the still open grave of the soldiers in the following photos. The name of the leftmost cross of the first photo, is seen by chance on the right side of the second photo. In other words, there were two burials in a row.
Thanks to the invaluable help of forum members Willmore and Witt, this idea was confirmed. And all the men buried there were identified
From Left to right:
Uffz. Willy (Wilhelm) Kulessa
San. Komp. 1/161
30.12.12 – 27.2.42
Uffz. Josef Schär
Kr. Kw. Zug 161
28.4.07 - 26.2.42
O. Gefr. Aloisius Heinrich
Kr. Kw. Zug 161
1.10.07 - 26.2.42
Gefr. Felix Marquardt
Kr. Kw. Zug 161
7.7.05 – 27.2.42
And the man from the previous grave, is
Heinrich Schymik
04.7.1917 - 19.2.1942
And a group of photos of a railway soldier stationed during the 1941/42 campaign
Feldbahn Betr. Abt. Ostpreußenbahn Wolchow Opotschiwalowa - light rail company Dept. Ostpreußenbahn Volkhov Opochivalova
Of course you have to have a great sense of humor to call this station Unter den Linden
Fahrdienstleiter - Dispatcher
Betriebswerkstatt - Workshop. Opotschiwalowo (Distr. Chudowo)
Feldbahn. Betriebsamt III. Ostpreußen Bahn
I hope you enjoy
Regards
Santi
And another one...
